This subdivision seemed a bold move in 1998. Without title, road frontage or services, this 6ha block of pasture was purchased with a vision for the type of high-density development that has only recently been recognised by Auckland’s Unitary plan.
When completed, the subdivision was acclaimed not only for its unique concept but its appealing design, and is now recognised as being 15 years ahead of its time. The development stands as a bench mark for mixed use, high density residential subdivisions.
